NutriSignals is a separate software project I have been developing alongside my work at David’s Computer Repairs. This timeline records some of the major steps in building the app, from early planning through to the website, social pages, beta preparation, and release milestones.
April 2025
Started planning the NutriSignals concept
Began outlining the idea for a Windows-based nutrition tracking app that could do more than record calories. The early focus was on making food, nutrients, symptoms, and useful summaries easier to understand together.
June 2025
Started core app development
Began building the first working version of NutriSignals, including the foundation for food diary entries, nutrient totals, user profiles, and local data storage.
August 2025
Added deeper nutrient tracking
Expanded the app beyond basic food logging so it could highlight nutrient gaps, surpluses, daily totals, and longer-term patterns.
October 2025
Added symptom, medication, and notes tracking
Added supporting health-context features so users could record more than food alone, including symptoms, medications, notes, and related daily observations.
December 2025
Added the Doctor / Hospital report
Built a report feature designed to summarise food, nutrients, symptoms, weight, and other useful patterns in a clearer format for health discussions.
January 2026
Started refining Diet Tuner and food suggestions
Began improving the app’s practical suggestion tools so NutriSignals could help users think about what might be worth changing next.
February 2026
Created the NutriSignals website
Created the public website for NutriSignals to explain the app, introduce the concept, and prepare for beta interest.
March 2026
Created NutriSignals social pages
Set up NutriSignals on Facebook and Instagram to start sharing updates, screenshots, feature explanations, and build progress.
April 2026
Opened beta waitlist preparation
Prepared the website, support material, and beta tester information so early users can start testing NutriSignals and providing feedback.
Future milestone
Beta release
NutriSignals will move into beta testing with selected early users, with feedback used to improve usability, reporting, setup, and the main nutrition insight workflows.
Future milestone
Public release
After beta testing and refinement, NutriSignals is planned for wider public release.
