PC assembly — using your parts
Already bought the components for your next computer? I can assemble and configure your supplied parts, helping you avoid common mistakes that can damage hardware or leave the finished PC performing below its potential.
Whether it’s a home computer, small-business workstation or gaming PC, contact me with your parts list and what you need done so I can discuss the work and provide a quote.
Careful assembly and proper configuration
Professional assembly includes careful motherboard mounting, cooling installation and cable connections. I also check BIOS updates, configure suitable memory settings such as XMP or EXPO where supported, install the appropriate drivers and tune the system with performance and stability in mind.
It’s more than getting the computer to switch on—it’s making sure the parts are installed and configured properly.
Free PC parts advice
Before you buy, I offer free component recommendations to suit your needs and budget. I check compatibility across the processor, motherboard, memory, storage, power supply, case and cooling.
This helps avoid costly mistakes, such as buying a processor for the wrong motherboard socket or DDR5 memory for a DDR4 motherboard. I also consider whether your motherboard can take advantage of the storage speeds you’re paying for.
A balanced system and better value
The aim is a balanced system. Spending heavily on one component may deliver little benefit if another limits performance in the games or applications you use. I help you put your budget where it will make a worthwhile difference.
Tell me what you want the computer to do, your budget and any parts you already own. If you have a proposed shopping list, send it before you order so we can discuss compatibility and the balance of the build.
