I’m David, based in Heritage Park near Browns Plains. With over 40 years of computing experience, I help home users and small businesses across Brisbane Southside, Logan, Ipswich and Bayside.

I operate a mobile service because I believe many computer problems are best investigated where they happen. I can see your complete setup, explain what I find and work with you to get things running properly.

Why I come to you

No packing up or transporting your computer

You don’t have to disconnect everything, carry the computer to a store and reconnect it afterwards. Keeping it in place also avoids the risk of knocks or accidental damage during transport.

See the fault in its usual surroundings

Some problems come from a printer, cable, router, network connection or another device plugged into the computer. A computer may work perfectly away from home, only for the fault to return when everything is reconnected. Checking the complete setup helps me find the cause.

Keep your computer and data with you

Your computer stays at your premises, and you can be present while I work. You can ask questions, see what is being checked and discuss access to personal files when it is needed for the job.

Get back to using it sooner

I can usually diagnose and fix the problem on site during the visit, often that day. Some jobs need replacement parts or further work, and I’ll explain that when it applies. You avoid a separate drop-off and collection trip.

Check the result together

Before I finish, we can check the things you actually use—such as email, printing, Wi-Fi or your work software—with your usual devices connected. I can also explain the changes and answer questions in plain English.

How I approach repairs

I listen to the symptoms, investigate the cause and explain the proposed work and charges before proceeding. My aim is to save you money with practical repairs and honest advice, including telling you when a repair or upgrade is not worthwhile.

The rate is $140 per hour with a $100 minimum charge. Labour for personal customers is capped at $420 per computer. There is no travel charge and no extra charge for weekends or public holidays.
