Not every win happens during a computer repair call-out. This week, I have a little milestone of my own to share: I’ve successfully completed the validation process for my code-signing certificate.
It’s an important step towards publishing my software. Code signing lets me digitally sign an application or installer so Windows can identify its publisher and check that the signed file hasn’t been altered since it was signed.
Alongside my mobile computer repair work, I’ve been developing software based on practical needs and ideas. I’ll be working towards publishing various applications, with more details to share as they’re ready.
One project I’m particularly excited about is a complete rewrite of NutriSignals, my Windows application for keeping food, nutrients, symptoms and weight records together. It’s a substantial project, and I’m looking forward to sharing the next stage.
You can find out more about NutriSignals and follow its progress on the website linked below.
There’s still work to do before these releases are ready, but completing the certificate validation is a satisfying step forward. Exciting updates coming soon!
